Bear Brook Valley: Renovation Updates
Bear Brook Valley welcomed its first guests in 2017 and has since celebrated countless weddings. Over the past eight years, we have made some minor updates. This year, however, we are excited to give the venue the makeover it deserves! Collaborating with a professional venue design specialist, we are implementing these enhancements to maintain our aesthetic while adding a modern, polished touch. Below is a breakdown of what you can expect with the renovations!
The Silo Suite
Expanded wraparound hair and makeup station featuring a quartz countertop, mirrors, modern light fixtures, and abundant natural light.
Built in storage for clothing, shoes, and personal items.
Updated flooring that transitions seamlessly into the ballroom.
New furniture, window treatments, and updated bathroom in the suite will be coming soon!
The Ballroom
Brand new flooring throughout, providing a fresh and clean appearance (goodbye scratched floors)!
The charming farm tables and cross-back chairs will stay as they are.
A brand-new enhanced uplighting system has been installed in the ballroom.
Fresh upgraded sound panels enhancing the sound of the music and reducing echoing.
The bathrooms have been updated.
Please note: the fireplace is here to stay!
We relocated the men’s bathroom so that it is no longer behind the sweetheart table. We also added a wall blocking the sightline of the kitchen doors.
Stunning blue paint.
Elegant chandeliers.
Quartz countertops.
Glass inserts and custom bar rail coming soon!
The coffee bar will now be integrated into the ballroom bar.
The fireplace will remain where it is.
This accent wall can be used as a sweetheart table backdrop.
Add a neon sign, candles, flowers, and/or photos.
We have a greenery and a wooden insert available for the backdrop (no fee).
The columns are the perfect place to repurpose your ceremony flowers!
With the new accent wall and the relocation of the men’s bathroom entrance, you can save money by forgoing an upgraded backdrop.
The greenery and wooden backdrops will no longer be available.
There will be space between the wall and the sweetheart table. Ultimately, it is up to you have close or far the table is from the wall.
The dessert bar has been relocated.
The cake table will go in the corner to the left of the accent wall.
It is centered with where your DJ or band will set up on the other side of the room.
With the additional space in the ballroom, you can shift the farm tables and sweetheart table back a little, creating more room for the DJ or band, as well as the dance floor.
New furniture and fire pits for the ballroom deck!
The ballroom, Silo Suite, cocktail hour space, and the Woodford Lounge will all be completed by the end of March.
What to expect on the lower level…
A third lounge/suite in the cocktail space that can be utilized as a break away space or neutral getting ready option.
An expanded cocktail area.
Updated Woodford Lounge.
Larger built-in stations replacing the previously used rolling carts.
The addition of a men's locker room and upgraded shower facilities.
Modernized lighting fixtures throughout the lower level.
Brand new cocktail tables and chairs, featuring a central banquette, high tops, and six-top round tables to eliminate the cafeteria aesthetic.
A refreshed rotunda cocktail entrance with a mosaic tile floor, new tables and lounge chairs, along with liquor lockers and cigar displays on the surrounding walls.
Elegant thick white quartz countertops on the bars and stations.
A repaired elevator for improved access.
