Wedding Favor Ideas Your Guests Will Love

With over one hundred weddings a year, we have seen lots of fun wedding favors at Bear Brook Valley. From dog treats to succulents to a late-night snack like pizza from the Brick Oven, we've seen it all. Wedding favors are a great way to thank your guests for taking the time to celebrate you and to add a personal touch to your wedding, but keep in mind that you should choose a wedding favor that has meaning to you and something that guests will actually use. Oftentimes, guests will leave behind their favors or toss them in the trash, so make sure you're spending your money wisely! Thanks to the awesome couples at Bear Brook Valley, we have plenty of ideas to share with those of you who are stuck on choosing a wedding favor.

Multi-Purpose Favors

Bear Brook Valley couple, Lindsay and Alex used bud vases with flowers as their escort cards which guests then got to take home. Not only does the flower escort card double as a wedding favor, but it also added some prettiness to the tables throughout the reception space. It's a win-win!

Succulents are cute, functional, and good for the Earth! These succulent escort cards also doubled as wedding favors. The only down side to giving your guests plants is that they can be a little difficult to travel with.

Coffee & Tea

Kristine and Evan gifted their guests with their favorite coffee and tea. We're sure that everyone would appreciate this and would most likely be drinking it the day after your wedding to stay awake!

Dog Treats

If you're like most of us, you're probably obsessed with your dog, so why not incorporate your pet in your wedding favors?! If lots of your guests have dogs at home, send them home with dog treats, from your dog to theirs! 🐶

Hot Sauce

Hank Sauce, one of Katie and John's go-to restaurants while vacationing in Sea Isle City, NJ was the inspiration behind their spicy wedding favors. The couple, who has a never-ending supply of Hank Sauce hot sauce, gifted their guests with a bottle of their own to take home! We love when wedding favors have meaning behind them :)

Honey

Give your guests something sweet 🍯 Each time they use the honey, they'll think of you!

Donate to Charity

If you feel like wedding favors are wasteful, consider using this as an opportunity to give back. This Bear Brook Valley couple placed a 'Spread the Love' chip at each guests' seat. Guests then placed the chip in the jar that corresponds with the charity that they wanted to support.

Jon Pivko

Prosecco

We don't think any wedding guest will be disappointed if the wedding favor includes alcohol! These cute little bottles of prosecco are the perfect token of appreciation. Guests can keep them or give them to someone else-- guaranteed they won't go to waste!

Matt Stallone

Ice Cream Scoopers

Jianna and Curtis wanted to give their guests something that they can use for years to come. A few months before their wedding, they realized they didn't have an ice cream scooper and assumed many others don't either. Now every time their guests serve ice cream at home, they'll remember Jianna and Curtis's wedding.

Food

If you want to give your guests what they really want (and will need after a night of drinking and dancing), send them off with one of our wedding late night stations-- McDonalds, pizza, THEC sandwiches, cheesesteaks...need we say more? Many couples have been ditching traditional wedding favors and have been sending their guests home with food instead. Trust us, your guests will appreciate a late night drunk munchie!
